It is the fastest, best handling car in FF that everyone can enjoy intense performance.
The AT (an enhanced 6-speed DCT model jointly developed by Renault Sport and Getrag) is an AT (Renault calls it EDC).
Since it is a twin-clutch AT, the shifting speed is tremendously fast, even when switched to manual mode with paddle shifters.
The brakes are Brembo 4-piston at the front with a strong, large-diameter 335 mm disc.
The car also features four-wheel steering, called 4-Control. (The rear also steers to match the front.)
This has a powerful effect on handling. Depending on the speed range, the rear wheels substitute the direction of the tires in the same or opposite phase, producing a grippy turn and stable handling even with a small steering angle.
This is a sensation that can only be experienced in the Megane.
KYB's HCC (Hydraulic Compression Control) shock absorbers are used on all four wheels.
It allows finer adjustment than bump rubbers, making the suspension movement more linear.
Really good suspension.
It handles fine road surfaces beautifully.
If you like cars and FF, you should definitely try it.

Power is 279ps, but look at the torque, 39.8kg-m at a whopping 2400rpm. You can imagine how agile it is.
The grade with even lighter weight is the fastest FF car on the Nurburgring at 7 minutes and 40 seconds. Even this grade is great enough.

The tires are DUNLOP SP Sport MAXX 050 high performance tires as of September 2022, and the mileage is in the 50,000 km range.

(Caution) It is wise not to drive on mountain passes with cat's eyes. If you step on the cat's eye under load, it can easily puncture the tire sidewall and cause a puncture that cannot be repaired.
Since the cat's eye is not equipped with an emergency tire, a tow will be required. (Flat tires will be charged at actual cost.)

The car is equipped with Apple CarPlay, which allows you to view the navigation and other functions of many iPHONE models on the car's screen.
(You will need to use a high-standard cable to connect.)
