Fully overhauled engine in 2021; as of November 2022, the vehicle has 158,000 km on it.
In April 2023, turbine (rebuilt), new vacuum control unit, new throttle position sensor, new ignition coil and plug cord (L side), new electric fan motor.
This is the last model 5. (Tyres are Dunlop Direzza Z2 DIREZZA high grip tyres).
The body rigidity of the suspension (especially at the rear) has been strengthened to make it much easier to drive than earlier models, but the behaviour at the limit is quite severe and requires skill. Please drive safely. On rainy days, the car will spin easily even in a straight line if you just accelerate too hard. (The car is not equipped with traction control like modern cars.) This is a matter of course. In this sense, it is a very dangerous car. The car is equipped with dampers and the rear area is a hatchback with a large opening, so there will be a lot of noise inside, such as squeaks and the sound of the springs of the dampers, so please be prepared for this and make a reservation.
Three RX7s have already been scrapped due to accidents, and they are very prone to accidents such as spins.
Please drive very nervously in the rain and on wet roads.
If you over-step and spin, sorry, it is very annoying. Please refrain from renting a vehicle if you have no self-control, plan to drive out of control or are not used to manual driving. Please refrain from registering as a member if you have caused an accident caused by yourself and have not apologised, or if you threaten against us.
